apache-airflow-providers-duckdb¶
DuckDB is an in-process analytical database. Because it runs inside the Airflow task process there is no server to connect to: the “connection” describes which database file to open, if any, and how the engine should be configured.
DuckDB version compatibility¶
The DuckDB storage format and the extension ABI are both tied to the DuckDB minor version. A
deployment that persists DuckDB database files, or that pre-installs extensions into an extension
directory, should pin duckdb itself rather than relying on this provider’s lower bound.
apache-airflow-providers-duckdb package¶
DuckDB provider for Apache Airflow. Runs SQL against an in-process DuckDB database — in memory, backed by a local file, or hosted by MotherDuck — and manages extension loading and resource limits so Dag authors only supply the SQL.
